Qualifications for this role include:
• Masters in Social Work, Educational Counselling, Clinical Psychology or Child and Youth Care or comparable graduate degree at the Master’s level.
• Minimum of one year full-time equivalent experience working with children and youth and their families, with responsibility for providing a wide range of community based mental health services.
• Must possess and maintain a valid class 5 BC Driver’s license with no restriction or equivalent (i.e. from another Canadian Province).
Preference may be given to applicants with the following:
• Two years or more experience working with children and youth and their families, with responsibility for providing a wide range of community based mental health services.

Clinical Cardiologist with a focus on Women’s Heart Health and Non-Invasive Electrophysiology
The Vancouver Acute Division of Cardiology seeks a full-time General Cardiologist with expertise in Clinical Care Cardiology. Qualified candidates must have completed training in cardiovascular medicine and be certified or be eligible for certification by either the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or the BC College of Physicians and Surgeons. The candidate should have at least 1-year of advanced adult electrophysiology training and an interest in Women’s Heart Health.
Preference will be given to those candidates with an interest in Women’s Heart Health. In addition, priority will be shown to those candidates with advanced electrophysiology training and an interest in all aspects of heart rhythm management and non-invasive electrophysiology. The candidate should have experience enrolling patients in multicentre trials and registries to support the research mandate of the Centre for Cardiovascular Innovation – Centre d ’Innovation Cardiovasculaire (CCI-CIC).
The successful candidate is expected to have excellent communication skills, both written and oral. He/she/they will be expected to provide leadership, mentorship, and training as appropriate to medical students, residents, fellowship trainees, and graduate students. Responsibilities include supporting the Leslie Diamond Women’s Heart Health Clinic and the Pacemaker, Device, and Atrial Fibrillation Clinic at VGH.
This position will be a mid-career position within the Division of Cardiology at the University of British Columbia (UBC). As part of the UBC Division of Cardiology’s academic focus, the successful candidate will be expected to support the development and growth of the UBC Cardiology research and teaching programs as a member of CCI-CIC. The UBC Division of Cardiology Head will support the successful applicant to be assigned the rank reflecting seniority based on the candidates’ credentials; however, clinical faculty appointments at UBC will be assigned a rank determined by the Appointments and Promotion Committee of the UBC Department of Medicine.

The Vancouver Acute Division of Cardiology seeks a full-time academic Adult Congenital and Structural Cardiologist. Qualified candidates must have completed training in cardiovascular medicine and be certified or be eligible for certification by either the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or the BC College of Physicians and Surgeons. The candidate should have at least 2 years of adult congenital heart disease training and structural interventional cardiology training including complex transcatheter aortic, mitral, and tricuspid procedures.
Candidates with dedicated research training who have completed or enrolled in an advanced research degree at the time of application will be given priority. Preference will be shown to those with research experience in clinical trials and related methodology, and a strong record of peer-reviewed publications that demonstrate research productivity and the ability to obtain extramural funding, with an international reputation. The candidate should have experience with multicentre trials including a focus on structural heart disease and related disciplines to support the research mandate of the Centre for Cardiovascular Innovation – Centre d ’Innovation Cardiovasculaire (CCI-CIC).
The successful candidate is expected to have excellent communication skills, both written and oral. He/she/they will be expected to provide leadership, mentorship, and training as appropriate to medical students, residents, fellowship trainees, and graduate students. Responsibilities include supporting the Vancouver Structural Heart Disease and Pacific Adult Congenital Heart Disease Program with care provision at both Vancouver General and St. Paul’s Hospitals, including coverage of inpatient services at both sites. The candidate is expected to commit 30-40% of their time to research related activities, and apply for external operating and salary support within 3 years of appointment.

School District No. 27 (Cariboo-Chilcotin) is seeking applications for the excluded permanent position of Assistant Manager of Operations & Safety. Reporting to the Manager of Operations, the successful applicant is responsible for the daily supervision of the Custodial Department and the District’s Health and Safety Program, ensuring a healthy and safe working environment for all District employees, and in compliance with health and safety legislation, guidelines and standards.
Located in the Central Interior of British Columbia Canada, SD No. 27 supports two central communities / commercial areas (100 Mile House and Williams Lake) and many outlying communities throughout the region. The school district serves approximately 4,600 students in 21 schools and operates under an annual budget of approximately $54 million dollars.
Key Responsibilities:
Organize, plan, schedule, and supervise the Custodial Department, providing daily direction and ensuring best practices are followed
Recruitment, training and evaluation of custodial department
Manage, analyze, implement and maintain all aspects of the district custodial and cleaning services to ensure compliance with legislation, collective agreements and internal policies and procedures.
Responsible for joint-management of community-based use of district facilities and grounds
Provide training on and ensure adherence to Safe Work Procedures and relevant district policies and regulations
Knowledge and Abilities:
A minimum of three years management experience, preference given to applicants with experience in a unionized environment
Considerable experience in custodial with a working knowledge of current professional cleaning and floor maintenance procedures
Experience with WorkSafe BC, WHMIS and other safety protocols
Proven ability to identify and set priorities, organize, plan and schedule to ensure accurate completion of work within established deadlines
Proven ability to supervise, discipline and evaluate the work of unionized staff
Proven ability to work in a team setting, recognizing individual strengths and skills and utilizing such skills to benefit the department and District
Proven ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
Proven ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships and demonstrate skill and aptitude in dispute resolution
