Greater Victoria School District – looking for Meal Program Dietitian

(10 Month Contract / Up to 200 Hours per Year)

The Greater Victoria School District is currently accepting applications for a Meal Program Dietitian, under the direction of the District Principal of Student Services.

The Meal Program Dietitian is responsible for menu planning, quality assurance, education and evaluation of the food and nutrition related components of the School Meal Program.  The School Meal Dietitian will ensure that the School Meal Program meets the Healthy Schools BC requirements.

Applicants must have a minimum of a Bachelor or Baccalaureate Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics and a Dietetic internship or equivalent, extensive knowledge of menu planning and quality assurance procedures, experience in nutrition education, be a member of the College of Dietitians of British Columbia (CDBC) and possess a valid BC Driver’s License and have a vehicle available for use during working hours.  The duties as required as they relate to food and nutrition issues.

This position is a term contract at a pay rate of $29.00 per hour, up to 200 hours per year.
