The 4th annual weight stigma conference is happening! Despite the growth of weight stigma scholarship, weight-based oppression continues to be dominant within society, where thinness is privileged and fatness is oppressed. Given the harmful psychological and physiological consequences of weight stigma, exploring ways to change cultural attitudes and beliefs about body size is, therefore, evermore... Reminder: The extended deadline for submissions of oral presentations is 28th February and for posters is 31st March, 2016.
