The Nuu-chah-nulth Tribal Council Nursing Department is currently accepting qualified applications for a full-time Primary Care Nurse on the West Coast of Vancouver Island. The Primary Care Nurse is based out of the Tofino NTC Nursing office providing primary and remote nursing service to the Ahousaht Nation.

Preferred Qualifications:

♦ Remote Nursing Certification

♦ Minimum of 2 years clinical nursing experience with First Nations with expertise in Relational Practice, Reflective Practice and Trauma-Informed care

♦ Community Health Nursing experience particularly in Maternal/Child/Communicable Disease Programs

♦ Must have a car and a valid driver’s license

♦ Clean criminal record
