Northern Health

Lead, Overdose Prevention, Response & Addressing Stigma

Term Specific Full Time – Prince George, BC (Flexible)

The Lead—Overdose Prevention, Response and Addressing Stigma works with the Population and Public Health Leadership Team and other key stakeholders in the Overdose Response work to gather upstream evidence and design a knowledge implementation strategy and tactics addressing stigma and discrimination for people who use substances. This includes the implementation of leading interventions into direct services across Northern Health, specific to healthy people in healthy communities and across the realm of policy, education, knowledge, service design, practice and evaluation. This strategy will further the alignment of population based actions within the Northern Health operating system, working closely with Population and Public Health Leadership to grow select partnerships across the region for the purpose of driving a culture of quality, addressing stigma, harms and focused on better health for populations.
