BounceBack® — Coping with COVID-19

BounceBack® is a free skill-building program designed to help adults and youth 15+ manage low mood, mild to moderate depression, anxiety, stress or worry. Delivered online or over the phone with a coach, you will get access to tools that will support you on your path to mental wellness.

BounceBack® gives you access to materials and resources that can all be customized to fit your needs. You will have access to workbooks, activities, videos, or a trained coach who can provide up to 6 phone sessions.

Anxiety Canada™ is a leader in developing free online, self-help, and evidence-based resources on anxiety.  

A registered charity and non-profit organization, Anxiety Canada was established more than twenty years ago to raise awareness about anxiety, and to support access to proven resources and treatment.

World Health Day 2020

7 April 2020 is the day to celebrate the work of nurses and midwives and remind world leaders of the critical role they play in keeping the world healthy. Nurses and other health workers are at the forefront of COVID-19 response – providing high quality, respectful treatment and care, leading community dialogue to address fears and questions and, in some instances,  collecting data for clinical studies. Quite simply, without nurses, there would be no response.

‘Create HOPE’ Digital Mural Initiative

In the context of the current state of isolation, recommended by public health officials across the country due to COVID19, a new initiative is launching today through an alliance between local Canadian arts and health advocates. Bridge for Health (Vancouver), and the Dundas West Open Air Public Art Museum (Toronto). The two have come together to create an arts-based health promotion initiative in response to the high demand for mental health support for families to cope during this difficult period that humanity faces.
