I Boost Immunity Public Event and Fundraiser

You are invited to join the Public Health Association of BC, I Boost Immunity and UNICEF Canada for a public event and fundraiser to help raise awareness around immunization. Proceeds from the event will go towards purchasing vaccines for children in need around the world. The event will include:

• A presentation by Mabel Wong, Board Director of UNICEF Canada;
• A silent auction;
• An I Boost Immunity (IBI) quiz challenge with matching donations from London Drugs;
• Flu shots on-site, provided by a London Drugs pharmacist; as well as
• Light appetizers and a cash bar.

London Drugs will donate a vaccine each time one is earned, so each quiz question answered correctly= 2 vaccines!

The public event and fundraiser will build off of the success of the I Boost Immunity (IBI) online learning and sharing platform, which donates vaccines to UNICEF Canada for each piece of content shared or quiz question answered correctly. IBI purchases a mix of tetanus, polio and measles vaccines from UNICEF Canada, who then directs the vaccines wherever the need is greatest internationally.
