CPHA – Call for Submissions is now open!

The Canadian Public Health Association (CPHA) is pleased to announce the Call for Submissions for Public Health 2016 (CPHA’s annual conference).  Deadline for submissions is Thursday, November 19, 2015.

Public Health 2016 is the meeting place for the public health community to connect, collaborate, innovate, inspire, share and learn. It is a gathering of leaders and change agents from public, private and voluntary organizations that contribute to health and wellness.
CPHA invites submissions that facilitate the exchange and dissemination of innovative public health research, policies and practices. The Scientific Program will include the following formats:
  • Abstracts will be presented in the form of an Oral or Poster presentation.
  • World Café: Conversations that matter will facilitate collaborative dialogue and the sharing of knowledge and ideas to encourage conversation-like discussion of public health matters.
  • Symposium presentations will provide an opportunity for speakers to present various points of view on a common public health theme, issue or question.
  • Workshops are intended to be a dynamic format to enhance the skills of conference participants through a practical learning experience.
