New Regional Health Orders for the Central Okanagan

Due to a spike in cases, Interior Health has declared a COVID-19 outbreak in the central Okanagan. Vaccines are easily available at drop-in clinics and events listed at gov.bc.ca/VaxForBC
Until the region sees a drop in cases and higher vaccination rates, the following guidelines will apply:
  • Masks are mandatory for all indoor public spaces.
  • Non-essential travel to the area should be avoided unless fully vaccinated (two weeks after your second dose).
  • People should be especially cautious with indoor and outdoor personal gatherings.
  • Testing will be available for anyone experiencing symptoms, and asymptomatic testing in areas with COVID-19 exposures will take place.
