The Public Health Association of BC congratulates Sarah Dyer on her new role as Community Wellbeing Specialist at
BC Healthy Communities, where she will be overseeing the Age-Friendly Communities/Healthy Aging portfolios as well as contributing research and communications exper
tise and support to the Plan H program.
Sarah’s BSc. and MSc. in Nutritional Sciences, with her MSc. thesis focusing on the older adult population, and her previous work experience in gerontology health research, will allow her to contribute much in her new position. Also her skills in health research, health communications, public speaking and teaching, along with her project management, event planning, and relationship building skills, make her a great fit for this new role.
Sarah has been an amazing contributor to PHABC. Her leadership on projects especially financial systems have left a lasting positive impact on our administrative functions. We will miss Sarah but know that she is just around the corner with our friends at BCHC. We wish her every success and trust our shared commitment to public health will ensure our paths cross again

Alexandria Ross is replacing Sarah as office coordinator. Alex recently moved from Toronto where she worked as a legal secretary for 20 years. She has extensive experience as an office administrator, in customer service and bookkeeping. Alex enjoys keeping fit, being creative and curious. She is excited to join PHABC’s initiatives.
