SUMMARY:Recognizing and Responding to Violence Against Children: Online Workshop Violence\, Evidence\, Guidance\, Action (VEGA) Project
DESCRIPTION:In recognition of this year’s theme\, “The Power of Collaboration” the Victim Justice Network (VJN) is hosting an online workshop by the VEGA Project\, McMaster University to discuss child maltreatment\, including physical\, sexual\, and emotional abuse; neglect; and children’s exposure to intimate partner violence. The VEGA Project presenters will provide an overview of online evidence-based educational resources and how they may assist criminal justice professionals and victim services providers in addressing the needs of those who may have experienced child maltreatment.
