CMHA Mental Health Week May 4 to 10, 2020

The Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) holds Mental Health Week (MHW) during the first week of May each year. This year’s theme is social connection and its importance for mental health. We can all benefit from emotional and social support, but it’s even more crucial during the COVID-19 pandemic.
This year’s campaign calls for us to #GetReal about how we really feel.
We say we’re fine, even when the truth can be very different. Every time we just go through the motions, we miss out on the chance to connect for real. In times of crisis like this, we need each other more than ever.
Connecting doesn’t just feel good – it’s good for our mental health.
